Google has recently made substantial changes to what used to be called Google Documents. Google Drive comprises Docs, Sheets and Slides as well as Drive itself which is where your files are stored and applications like GMail, Google+ and others are closely linked in too, with seamless synchronisation.

As well as being at the heart of all that you do on a Chromebook, the new generation of laptops running the Chrome operating system, or on an Android tablet or smartphone, it can be utilised on almost any computer with an Internet connection for a wide range of tasks without any Office-type or image editing software, for instance, being needed on that computer.

In Google Drive, you can create new documents, spreadsheets and presentations instantly. Work together at the same time, on the same doc, and see changes as they appear. More >>
