The Prisoner
remains my all-time No 1 tv series. Lost, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy,
24, The West Wing, The X Files and Twin Peaks follow. Heroes has been
fun. The Simpsons* and Futurama next and I also find Bremner, Bird
& Fortune unmissable. Images from some of these can be found at

*If you use the pause function on a very good VCR, you will see that Maggie costs $847.63, a figure once given as the amount of money required to raise a baby for one month in the United States.
